The party was at a pool house in L.A. Musical performance by the band Bastille. Also some of Tracey Emin (A British Artist) art work was displayed around the house along with a Jeff Koons Yellow stainless steel animal balloon was outside on the front lawn.

WEEK 2

This week I will be talking about trends that are from 2013’s cat walk that made it’s way to the 2014’s cat walk. Vogue listed 20 of them but for my Blog I am only doing 5 major ones that are functional for the work place.

 1. Navy Blue: Navy Blue is a recurring color for fall trend. It said to be the new black according to this article. The great thing about Navy Blue in the work place that is elegant and sophisticated that it always appropriate. Its sexy but yet it is not to sexy.

2. Tweed: Tweed is a form of normal in work attire. Usually you will have something in Tweed weather be a skirt, jacket, or a suite. You can dress it up or dress it down. You can never go wrong with Tweed.

  3. Tomboy/ Sailor Boy: I put these two trends together because they are both similar. As you can see you can make boyish looking clothes work for women. With a vest , pair of nice work pants and a sailor boys cap you can rock this look. It’s good to have this kind of style in your closet for those cold fall days were you feel that a skirt/ dress is to cold. It can show that you are the “Man” in charge with ought loosing your femininity.

  4. Tailoring: Like the last trend, Tailoring is a big trend for women. Tailoring boyish looking clothes work for women. This Tailoring is good to have in your work attire closet because it is good to wear on a daily basis or even have for those business meetings that you are presenting to a client or your boss. You can dress it up or dress it down with Just a white button up.

  5. 1940’s: 1940’s is always elegant. I recommend this for those holiday parties for your work. Say if you had a fancy holiday party for work and you had to get all dressed up, this style I would use. I have worn this style for the big parties at work and I have always got complements from people on how elegant and just the right amount of sexy for a work environment.
